Married Emily Chaffrey, Brockville; returned to England shortly after her death in 1859. Remarried in Eng.; lived at Bury St. Edmonds, Suffolk.
Painted landscapes of Niagara Falls, Thousand Islands, Chaudière Falls and of Brockville districts, and some portraits.
