Health Economics and Statistics Division : The Health Economics and Statistics Division of the Health Programs Branch (the forerunner of the Health Services and Promotions Branch) was responsible for providing socio-economic research and evaluation support in the areas of health policy planning data analysis and program evaluation and acting as a centre for socio-economic research in the field of health.
