Scope and content:

Work depicts Fort William, Thunder Bay, Ontario. Fort William is presented on the far shore. Several structures are visible, enclosed by a wall inside of which is flying a flag high on the right hand side. Behind the fort is a forest running the length of the image. On the near shore are several trees. People are standing near a boat on the shore., Item is very soiled, yellowed and fly-specked. Item is torn and there is some paper loss. A narrow stip of paper is glued to the lower margin., Requires conservation treatment., Preservation copy photographs, both b&w and colour transparency, are held in the Loans and Exhibitions area of Preservation Branch.
