It had the power to deal in real estate stocks and for the Canadian Northern Railway free from the mortgages on the latter company. In June 1922 it acquired the issued capital stock of Continental Realty and Holding Company. On 21 August 1924 the name Canadian Northern Realties, Limited was changed to Canadian National Realties, Limited. RG30 General Inventory
Canadian National Realties, Limited : Canadian National Realties, Limited was formed when the name of Canadian Northern Realties, Limited was changed under Supplementary Letters Patent dated 21 August 1924. It took over the remaining properties of Federal Properties Limited on 19 September 1924, the remaining properties of Toronto Dwellings, Limited on 1 January 1925, the remaining properties of the Toronto, Niagara and Western Railway Company on 31 October 1933 and the remaining properties of the Grand Trunk Pacific Development Company Limited - Town Site Department on 1 January 1933. It also accumulated certain other physical properties on its own. The company still exists, holding physical property valued in 1960 at ,501,848.
