This sub-series (formerly sub-series B VII) includes works by J.W. Bald, F.W. Micklethwaite, Holloway Studio, Josiah Bruce, Ira Beckstead, and anonymous photographers and contains images of the Embarkation of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment, St. John's, Newfoundland, 1914; street scenes; interior and exterior views of factories, businesses, offices, stores and homes in the following places: Newfoundland; Quebec City, Quebec; Iroquois, Kingston, Peterborough, Toronto, St. Catherines, Port Colborne and Midland, Ontario.
The remainder of the sub-series contains views of various modes of transportation (and various locations and activities associated with the type of transportation) in Canada and the United States including freighters, passenger ships, ferries, tugs dredges, barges, schooners and sealing ships, as well as ship building, ship launchings and ship repair at the following places: Port Arthur, Midland, Port McNicoll, Muskoka Lakes, Toronto, Trenton and Kingston, Ontario; Montreal and Quebec City, Quebec; St. John's, Newfoundland; Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan and the construction of locks, as well as ships using the locks, on the Welland Canal, Ontario.

Additionally, there are views of transport trucks, delivery trucks, buses, fire engines and apparatus, traction engines, steam rollers and construction equipment, including many types of vehicles manufactured by Waterous of Brantford, Ontario.
Views of various types of aircraft, including the Martinsyde 'Raymour' aircraft which unsuccessfully attempted a trans-Atlantic flight from St. John's, Newfoundland in 1919, and a Felixstowe F-3 flying boat of the Canadian Air Board taking part in the first trans-Canada flight in 1920 are also present in this sub-series.
The original envelopes the negatives of this sub-series were stored in are also part of the sub-series, however the majority of the envelopes have minimal caption information associated with them.
