The files in the accession, contained in a variety of file classification systems, represent administrative and operational records for the regional office located in Cornwall, Ontario.
The records document a variety of activities in regional national parks, historic parks and sites, canals, and in the regional office itself. Subjects include administration, committees, conferences, geographical names, native treaties and rights, co-operative activities, public consultation, canal land regulations, and construction and repair plans for various canal and park structures.
