The records consist of two series of files: Boxes 1-13 are departmental operational records, program subject files for 1978-1981 on citizenship programs, human rights, employment, youth, multiculturalism, natives, bilingualism, and education. They are filed numerically by subject classification. Boxes 14-37 are funding files on groups which have requested funding for a variety of causes. They consist of case files of social, religious, and cultural groups and are grouped by date. They contain application forms, contacts, and usually some program monitoring such as a final report.
