Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Campbell River District Office (formerly known as the North Island District Office) of Indian and Northern Affairs Canada and its predecessors. Predecessors include the Kwawkewlth Agency. The accession includes, but is not limited to records relating to: economic development including training, financing, evaluations, Canada Works Program and Band Works Process; natural resources including fishing, hunting, forestry, sand and gravel (structured minerals) and industrial waste; law enforcement including indebtedness, Game and Fisheries laws, trespassing and taxation; social activities including arts, crafts, fairs and exhibitions; social development including welfare, statistics and reports.
