Recherche dans la collection - Eskimo disk lists [textual record]

Accession consists of a copies of community lists specifying Inuit artists and hand written district lists containing an assigned Eskimo disk or disc number, individual names and birth/death information.

There are two types of records. The first four boxes and part of the fifth contain community files arranged alphabetically by community. They also provide the names of artists in these areas. Box numbers 5 and 6 contain regional Eskimo Disk lists stored in binders and arranged by district in numeric order. In both cases the disk numbers and names of individuals are provided.

A number of the records are found in black binders which should be removed when processed.

These records were transferred to the Government Archives Division by the Corporate Information Management Branch on behalf of the Inuit Art staff at DIAND.
