Magazine section of the Vancouver Province, Saturday, 16 April 1952, page three.Provenance :Biographie/Histoire administrative :Hodges, John Kirkland, 1888-1969 : John Kirkland Hodges, 1888-1969, hotel manager; amateur photographer. Born 1888/03/28 Ann Arbor, Mich. Flourished Montreal, Quebec, ca. 1919-1923; Winnipeg, Man., 1923-1928; Victoria, B.C., 1928-1969. Hodges work was featured in American Photography, The Camera (Dublin), Photo-Era, and Saturday Night. While manager of the Empress Hotel, John Kirkland Hodges, was active in the Pictorial Photographers of Victoria and its successor, the Victoria Photographic Society. Died 1969/07/06 Victoria, British Columbia.
