(Autre) Finding aid 29-143 is comprised of three items. The first is an abbreviated copy of the notes prepared by the archivist during selection. Through a brief description of the major contents of the particular file used as a representative example of the entire block, researchers should obtain an indication of the kinds of records can be found in those blocks. Second is a copy of the list of the institutional codes (noted as CODE in the above description of the highlights of the records) which Medical Services Branch records personnel use to classify material from various regions and institutions/hospitals. Finally, there is a verified file list prepared by the Department for transfer, showing the permanent volume number, file number, part number, the full file title, and the outside dates of the material.
