Date :1985Référence :RG29Genre de documents :Documents textuelsTrouvé dans :Archives / Collections et fondsNo d'identification :1284413Date(s) :1985Lieu :National Capital Region,Lieu de création :CanadaMention d'édition :OriginalÉtendue :236 recordsLangue du document :anglaisPortée et contenu :This file contains data collected through the group leaders post-core process questionnaire providing information about the group leaders after the first five core lessons of the PAL program have been completed. It is one of seven files of student data which were used in the evaluation of the pilot study of the Peer Assisted Learning Smoking Prevention Program (PAL program). The study was to measure the attractiveness, durability, ease of use and reading level of the PAL resource material; in addition, it was to determine the strength and weaknesses of the PAL process and to assess the impact of the PAL program, over the short term, on stabilizing smoking prevalence. This particular survey provides information about: how leader was selected; perceived roles of group leader, how students responded to group leader; general group data such as best and worst things about the group and whether individual would be a group leader again.Provenance :Nom(s) additionnel(s) :Information additionnelle :Note générale :For an explanation of the codes for the first seven variables refer to pg. 5 of the Abt Associates' report. Whenever a code of 9 or 99 appears for these variables, this indicates that the response question is unknown. This occurs because in many instances the group leader questionnaires did not accompany the general student questionnaire and, as a result, the locational information could not be correlated. For an explanation of the codes associated with the remaining variables, refer to the modified Group Leaders Post-Core Process questionnaire and the appropriate sections for Q26, Q27 and Q29.
