Sub-series consists of central registry files classified according to the Block Numeric classification system. In this system, primary numbers are allotted to subjects (e.g., 4733 Cultural Affairs-General) and the primary subject further refined and made more specific by the use of secondary (and sometimes tertiary) numbers for specific files (e.g., 4733-7 Cultural Affairs-General-Potlatch Artifacts). This sub-series includes files pertaining to education, cultural education centres, communication, information services, the Management Improvement Project (MIP), education database, potlatch artifacts, and estate files (Vols. 12795-12812); files relating to cultural centres from across the country (including general files, centre-specific and province-specific files), as well as one economic development file pertaining to industrial and business development (Vols. 12032-12094).
