This accession consists of records created and maintained by the British Columbia regional office of Indian and Northern Affairs Canada, and its predecessors.

The accession contains drawings and plans for projects in various areas of British Columbia and the Yukon, including, but not limited to, Port Simpson, Kuper Island, Lower Post, Fort Babine, Prince Rupert, Whitehorse, Tofino, and Bella Bella. Projects include, but are not limited to, schools, hostels, hospitals, and stores.

Boxes 5-7 and 10 are located in the National Capital Region and boxes 1-4 and 8-9 can be consulted in Vancouver, B.C.

This accession encompasses 2.7 metres of shelf space, but consists of ten map boxes, each measuring one metre.
