Recherche dans la collection - Central registry and Chancellery of Canadian Orders and Decorations recipients [textual record]

The records in this accession come from two different offices in Government House. The majority of the records consist of the central registry files from terms of office of Jules Leger and Edward Schreyer. The records contain information on tours, visits, receptions, patronage and other subjects requiring the Governor General's attention.
This accession also contains eight boxes (223 to 230) of records from the Chancellery of Canadian Orders and Decorations relating to the Order of Canada, the Order of Military Merit, and Bravery Decorations. The Order of Canada files are for the recipients who died in 1980, 1986, and 1988; the Order of Military Merit files are for those service members who retired in 1989; and the Bravery files are for those who received their award in 1985.
