This accession contains plans and specifications for the construction of Federal government buildings as well as plans and specifications for modifications and renovations to existing federal buildings and engineering features in the Pacific Region. The files date from as early as 1930 and concern projects implemented up to the mid 1970s. Included are files on such subjects as alterations to the dome of the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory, modifications to engineering features along the Alaska Highway, and renovations to the Point Grey R.C.M.P. residence. Files are arranged in alphabetical order first by location and second by building or feature name.

These records were originally held in British Columbia. They were transferred to the National Capital Region in 2016 and are available for consultation there.
