Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Pacific Region of Public Works and Government Services Canada.

The accession includes, but is not limited to, records relating to: maintenance and renovation of various buildings, structures, and sites in British Columbia and the Yukon, including office buildings, border crossings, customs buildings, airports, penitentiaries, RCMP detachments, harbours, wharves, floats, ferry terminals, waterways, Coast Guard Base, mail processing plants, Esquimalt Graving Dock, Steveston Bent Training Wall, New Westminster Railway Bridge, Patricia Bay Institute of Ocean Sciences, Forintek, and other sites. Accession also includes contracts for various services in British Columbia, the Yukon, Alberta and Saskatchewan, such as contruction, maintenance, renovations, dredging, asbestos abatement, breakwater improvements, engineering services, research relating to First Nations claims, appraisals, timber valuation, and inspections.

These records were originally held in British Columbia. They were transferred to the National Capital Region in 2016 and are available for consultation there.
