Accession consists primarily of records relating to either offender programs or parole, including jurisdiction stats, conditional release standards, and temporary absences which were created and/or accumulated by the Nova Scotia District Office of the Correctional Service of Canada in Halifax. Other records in the accession relate to commissioner investigations, penal and correctional inquiries, parolee assistance programs, and psychological services for addicts and sex offenders.
