0.5 cm of textual records.Langue du document :anglaisPortée et contenu :The sub-series comprises the photographs of Judy-Pauline Hunter, an Inuit woman who was the wife of Richard White, a storekeeper and fox farmer in Voisey's Bay and Kauk, near Nain in northern Labrador. The photographs depict Richard White's store and fox farm; the arrival of Innu at the store and their campsites; the people of the Barren Grounds and Davis Inlet bands of the Innu; other visitors to the store including Inuit; and related activities around the store. Subjects also include sled dogs, foxes, bears, fur trading, hunting with bow and arrow, canoeing, Innu tents and clothing, Innu art and design. Some of the individuals depicted in the photographs were identified by name, apparently by Judy-Pauline Hunter White. They include Pokwe and family, and Pokwe's daughter; Mantoka, widow of Ostnanitsu (or Ostinitsu), and Ostnanitsu's daughter; Pasna and family; Nastas; Napeo (Edward Rich), a shaman; George Rich and family; Manim and Pias (mother of George Rich's wife); and Manuk and Sakan (Rich), among many others who are not identified. There is also a photograph of a bear cub identified as "Winnie the Pooh the second" which was taken to the London zoo in the 1930s.
