The fonds consists of records pertaining to Lenore Stevens Keillor's activities: biographical documents on the Stripp and Stevens families; a school notebook and Associate teaching diploma from the Toronto Conservatory of Music; a notebook listing the contents of a parcel sent to her brother Howard Stevens during the war; a lecture entitled Women's Contribution to Music; greeting cards and tributes from dignitaries on her 90th birthday; a scrapbook of clippings and concert programmes documenting musical life, primarily in the Medicine Hat, Alberta, region between 1914 and 1921; photographs of Lenore Stevens, members of her family, the Elgin County Male Choir and pianist and composer Paul de Marky.

Keillor, Lenore Stevens, 1897-1993 : A musician born in Aylmer, Ontario, Lenore Stevens Keillor studied music from an early age and began teaching piano in Montréal when she was 10 years old. She continued her training with W.O. Forsyth, also obtaining an Associate diploma from the Toronto Conservatory of Music. In Alberta, she became an accompanist to silent films, taught music and performed with various ensembles at the Banff Springs Hotel. She moved to Ontario in 1919 and continued her career as a teacher, and served as organist and choir director in the Presbyterian church and a number of other churches.
