Recherche dans la collection - Miscellaneous records of Labour [textual record]

This accession consists of Labour records that were never accessioned and that were found in archivists offices prior to the move to Gatineau in November 2005.

Although some dates are unknown, these records seem to date from 1973 to 1993. They deal primarily with electronic records manuals that were collected during the Technical appraisal of the Social Services Programs Branch of the Department of Manpower and Training.

Also found in this accession are a few files of research about the International Labour Organization for its 50th anniversary. There are also a few volumes of the draft Labour Department History by F. Isbester. (Chapters 1 to 9)

There is also file 329-1-2 titled : Industrial Inquiry Commission on Railway Runthroughs (Freedman Report).

These archival records were found in archivists offices during cleaning up for the move from the West Memorial Building in Ottawa to the Place de la Cité Building in Gatineau in November 2005. They do not match, nor do they belong together. Diligent research did not enable us to locate where those records belonged.
