Sub-series consists of reports relating in large part to the experimental data of the Field Husbandry Division of the Central Experimental Farm, involving crop rotation, fertilizers, weed eradication, pasture and soil moisture experiments, meteorological conditions, and machinery trials. There are also reports from the Experimental Stations at Swift Current (1937-1938) and Fort Vermilion (1930-1941) concerning cereals, horticulture, fluoriculture, and soils. There are two reports on black flies and meteorological conditions written by offices of the Entomology Division. Volume 4400 contains papers, addresses, speeches of P.O. Ripley who was the Director of the Division of Field Husbandry, soils and Agricultural Engineering. There is also a file on M.K. Neatby who was Director of Research Branch between 1946 and 1951.
