This sub-series consists predominantly of press statements and final versions of addresses to the House of Commons delivered by Stockwell Day or Stephen Harper during their respective times as leaders of the Canadian Alliance (from 8 July 2000 to 12 December 2001 for Day and from 20 March 2002 to 12 January 2004 for Harper). Many speeches pertain in some way to the September 11 attacks and cover topics such as Canadian foreign policy, anti-terrorism legislation, Canadian military engagement in Afghanistan, and Canada's role in the Multi-National Force in Iraq.
