A letter from Charles Tarieu de Lanaudière to Lord Sydney in 1782 was transfered to fonds Thomas Townshend (MG 23, A 3).
Documents acquired from Gustave Lanctot of Kirk's Ferry, Quebec in 1969.
Historique de la conservation :
After the death of X.-R. Tarieu de Lanaudière, the study would have become the property of notary Augustin Larue, neighbourg of Antoine-Ovide de Lanaudière, brother of the author of the study, and the property of Louis-Nazaire Roy, former law student at Larue's office.
