A dramatization of the events of 1816 is re-enacted when North West Company traders challenged the colonists' right to the land and used intimidation to drive them off. The conflict culminated in the Battle of Seven Oaks between Metis, traders, and colonists. Lord Selkirk's attempts to bring the rebels to justice proved fruitless and he eventually returned to France. Scenes include: a banquet attended by Lord and Lady Selkirk; the massacre; and the judicial trials which followed. Voice-over narration provides historical commentary.Personnages :HISTORICAL DRAMA~RED RIVER SETTLEMENT~SEVEN OAKS, BATTLE OF, 1816 ~SELKIRK, THOMAS Langue :EnglishRemarques :Détails de l'inventaire : -
