B'nai B'rith International

B'nai B'rith Convention, held in Toronto. A speaker introduces the people present at this event. The Honorable Jack J. Spitzer, international president of BB, is the guest speaker, and is intervention is followed by a convocation and singing. Other speakers talk about B'nai B'rith Canada and the province of Ontario. Then Mrs. Gerrie Howwity, president of B'nai B'rith women in Canada talks about her country. Madeleine Epitein speaks of the jewish community. Afterwards a few people give their greetings and talks about jewish's situation. Herb Gray, president of the treasury board of Canada, brings greetings from Pierre E. Trudeau. A few subjects are discussed, such as Soviet jewry, Israël's situation and B'nai B'rith itself. Finally Mr. Aba Eban talks about jewish solidarity and a few people receive awards for achievements.
