Recherche dans la collection - CHS 6975 Mackenzie River Delta [cartographic material]

Accession consists of document file 6975 for the Canadian Hydrographic Service. This document file consists of three annotated maps. The base map for all three is the Mackenzie River Delta and Mackenzie Bay, which was published by the Department of the Interior Topographical Survey of Canada in 1924. The annotations were added during Hudson's Bay Company investigations of 1928-29. This file is listed in the CHS document file registry under the title: "Mackenzie Delta - Map bearings, corrections, soundings, etc. by W.H. Gillen, Hudson Bay Company, 1930." This general note serves as a finding aid for the accession.

Maps were transferred to LAC from the Northwest Territories Archives.

The maps were annotated by several different hands with updated map bearings, corrections, soundings etc during the Hudson's Bay Company investigations of 1928-1929. Annotations are in red and black pen as well as pencil.
