This file contains architectural and design drawings of the gyrotron (also known as the Spectacular Ride) which was designed and built for Expo 67. This structure was intended as a permanent structure located in Expo Area: La Ronde. The Gyrotron was the largest structure on La Ronde during Expo 67 consisting of two pyramid-shaped elements enclosed within aluminum space frames and contained the "Space" and the "Volcano" rides. The owner and contracting body of this structure was the Canadian Corporation for the 1967 World Exhibition. The design architect was Sean Kenny of London, England.
