This file contains architectural and design drawings of the Man in Control thematic complex that was designed and built for Expo 67. This was one of three complexes for the Man the Producer theme pavilion (see Key Ref. 440) located in Expo Area: Ile Notre-Dame. It featured displays about humans' relationship with technology, both the pros and cons. A Communications Theatre presented four films on the history of communications in different countries, the evolution of language, and the basic principles of electronics and the role of computers in day-to-day life and household products. The owner and contracting body of this building was the Canadian Corporation for the 1967 World Exhibition. The design architect for the complex was Affleck, Desbartes, Dimakopoulos, Lebensold, Sisa, Montreal. Project Type: C.C.W.E. Projects = Projets de la C.C.E.U.
