Accession consists of contribution arrangement files created and/or maintained by the Ontario Regional Office, Toronto. The contribution arrangement files pertain to a wide variety of contributions/loans made to First Nation individuals, bands, associations, groups or corporations for a variety of reasons, including the development or expansion of business enterprises or the implementation of capital projects on First Nation reserves. The files typically includes the original formal agreements between the department and the recipient (including, in the case of Bands, original Band Council Resolutions) describing the obligations of both parties and outlining the terms and conditions under which payments will be made.

The accession is held by the Regional Service Centre in Winnipeg.
