The records in this accession were maintained in the National Defence Headquarters central registry. The records consist of files outlining Programme Change Proposals (PCP) within existing Defence Services Programmes. When additional funds are required for equipment replacements or additional equipment a PCP is completed and forwarded for approval of funds. The records usually consist of correspondence explaining the PCP and a number of forms which are filled out to requisition additional funds, and a minute sheet indicating approval or disapproval of the proposal. The equipment covered by these PCPs range from small sub-components to aircraft.
