The Coast Interior District was created in November 1992 as an amalgamation of the Central Vancouver and Northwest District offices.
This accession consists of bound volumes of engineering infrastructures drawings for reserves within the jurisdiction of the Interior Coast District. The engineering "as built" drawings were for capital projects and show the underground servicing for the reserve, e.g., water, sewer systems, reservoirs. The drawings were prepared for the bands, originally by DIAND engineers and subsequently by engineering consultants, as a requirement of contributions.
Each volume typically contains a drawing list, survey maps of the reserve, and "as found" and "as constructed" plans.
