This film begins with a view of a room. On the back wall is a sign reading "Dancing Lessons Crash". The teacher, Madame Cassell, and her pupil, an auto enthusiast, dance with some difficulty. The piano player provides the music. They stop and the pupil pulls a harmonica out of his pocket. He plays a few bars of something. The piano player picks it up. The teacher and pupil continue dancing. They stop dancing and the piano player points to the time. An intertitle reads: "Fifty Bucks for an Hour -- and she earned every Cent of it." The student pays the money. He asks the teacher a question. The intertitle reads: "The famous Hesitationer, One-Stepper and Tangoer, is invited to take the Air in his 200 H.P. imported Car." She accepts and they leave. She gets in to a car on a city street. An intertitle reads: "Speed Limit 8 miles an hour." There is a shot of them racing through town and the country, raising a cloud of dust on the dirt roads. The next intertitles say: "The Speed maniacs bumped right into the Majesty and Dignity of the Law. A Constable -- Billy Robinson". A short police officer flags them down. Madame Cassel gets out of the car, dances a few steps and shows him her card. The intertitle reads: "How do I know you are Madame Cassel? Why, she is the Durndest Dancer in the whole world!" The pupil pulls out his harmonica and Madame Cassell dances with the police officer.
