The records in this accession consist of registry files created by the Centre's program Management Branch which is responsible for the implementation and management of research and development projects undertaken by the TDC. These records relate to a variety of operational and research activities such as Short Take Off and Landing (STOL) aircraft, arctic transportation, high speed rail travel, automobile traffic, automation and computerization in the transportation industry, motor vehicle safety, bus transportation, the evaluation of new equipment and so on.
