Accession consists of records created and/or maintained by the Prince George District Office of Aboriginal and Northern Affairs Canada and its predecessors. Predecessors include the Lakes District and the Stuart Lake Agency.

The accession includes, but is not limited to, records relating to: leases: estates; land matters, including church sites and maps and plans; sales of Indian land; housing; placement of Indian labour; engineering services including water supply systems, bridges, and electric power services; and band management, including minutes of council, band council resolutions (BCRs), and membership.
