Documentary about South African athlete Zola Budd. She took out British citizenship so that she could bypass the boycott on South Africa and compete in international track meets. She encountered controversy by participating in athletic competitions in South Africa. Interviewees include: journalist Neil Wilson of the Daily Mail; her coach, John Bryant; and Sam Ramsamy, chair of a London-based anti-apartheid organization dedicated to maintaining the ban against South African participation in international sport. There is also actuality of her winning a race. She has not won a major race since March 1986 and Gray speculates that she may not be good enough to join the British track team. <7mn>
