Recherche dans la collection - Sections of the canal between the first eight locks and the Hogs Back. [cartographic material]

This plan shows cross-sections of the canal, indicating the grade of the banks coming down to the water level and below the water level. This plan accompanies three other maps of the canal: a plan of Hogs Back, a plan of Dows Lake, and the plan of the first eight locks. The cross-sections are taken at lines drawn on these maps. Although no date appears on this map, the maps to which this one refers ae all dated 1831. There is an account sheet accompanying this plan.
