Tactical SAR imagery is in RAW file format. Imagery can be viewed using the following software: Adobe Photoshop 9 (and possibly earlier and later versions) through the "Open As" option or ERDAS Imagine 8.7 (and possibly earlier and later versions). If Adobe Photoshop is used to access the imagery, the following information is required: header size (1024), width (4160) and length (varies and can be automatically calculated by Photoshop or obtained from the electronic LOG file from the number of lines field). If ERDAS Imagine is used to access the imagery, an additional computer file (.gen) will be required: Sip_N.gen (for narrow width imagery) or Sip_W.gen (for wide swath imagery). The imagery will appear in mirrored format and should be reorientated.
