The list below is meant as a general guide to the contents of the series. For a more complete and useful list of maps related to the First World War, researchers are strongly advised to consult MIKAN record number 178554, an artificial collection that includes the majority of maps from the Odlum fonds along with many others related to the First World War. The finding aid to First World War Collection provides the microfiche numbers essential for the consultation of these mostly microfilmed records.
Maps linked to the present series were originally found in volumes 15 to 22 of the manuscript portion of the Odlum fonds. The list below matches the cartographic item numbers to their original files in the manuscript fonds. Titles provided are those of the files and not those of the actual maps. As mentioned above, most maps of the Odlum fonds are available on microfilm but, since the following list does not provide the corresponding microfilm numbers, its usefulness is somewhat limited.
