1 collage ; essay, two envelopes with miniature designs laid down as stamps on them to the left ; one acetate sheet with painted design in white and black gouache, over green cardboard background painted green laid down to grey wove paper support also laid down to black wover paper support ; 35.3 x 45.0 cm folding to 35.3 x 22.5 cm.

Attributions et conjectures :

Attribution based on documents from the Post Office Department fonds: a letter from Rapid Grip and Batten Limited to the Canada Post Office dated April 7, 1965, states that Miss Dumford [sic] will be the only artist [from this company] working opn the design; a letter of thanks from Canada Post ; an invoice for the work in her name.

Note sur la description matérielle :

The main design in acetate and underlying green background are approximatelly the same dimensions (11.0 x 16.8 cm) and to the right of the support; the two envelopes are on the left: the top one has a miniature watercolour of the design in black and white laid down as a stamp; the bottom one has a black and white photo miniature of the design laid down as a stamp ; Typography layout: 5 cents.

The two envelopes are detached from the secondary support.
