Included subjects are the Corner Brook community as the smallest one to host the Canada Games, the role of the volunteer sector in these games, the 50th anniversary of Newfoundland’s joining Confederation, the federal infrastructure program which helped the games, the importance of sports for young people’s development, and the importance of Newfoundland in the Canadian identity.
