BRADY'S BEASTS is an animated television series for children featuring a twelve-year old boy by the name of Brady Plunkett who lives in a whimsical new-millennium world where children are clamoring to replace their goldfish, puppies, hamsters and other cute household pets with horrifying, erratic and often carnivorous monsters. Raising these hideous semi-domesticated creatures of all shapes, sizes and appetites is not easy. While kids do not tend to be scared of them, the adults are utterly petrified. That's why children often end up calling Brady Plunkett, a true monster-rights activist, to help ease the potentially risky adoption process. In each episode, we learn the dos, don'ts, and do-at-your-own-risks of raising a beast. In addition, each episode contains two separate stories. In the first story, Nessie, the famous Loch Ness Monster has escaped from her Scotland home and ends up in Ravenville's water supply. It turns out that Nessie, who starts wreaking havoc by flooding, spraying and splashing everyone in town, is a creature entirely made of water who can easily navigate through any kind of water pipes. Brady, the monster expert, successfully captures Nessie and turns her into a constructive member of the community - the best firefighter Ravenville has ever seen. In the second story, Ravenville is harassed by a creature named Weeper, a tear-drinking vampire, who makes people cry in order to feed itself. Brady and friends demonstrate that tears of joy are considerably tastier than tears of sadness by using Virgil as the butt of a joke so funny that it makes everyone cry from laughing too hard. With the overabundance of sweet-tasting tears, the Weeper is fed and does not need to be mean to people any longer. <24mn 15s>
