1947. The film begins with footage of the Toronto Santa Claus Parade. Shots of various decorated floats, and musical bands marching down Yonge Street. The parade shares the road with a TTC (Toronto Transit Commission) streetcar that passes in the background going in the opposite direction. Lynda Attridge stands next to a pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey game. Lynda and Jack Attridge opening gifts on Christmas morning. Two women in the kitchen preparing the Christmas meal. The family dinner table with everyone seated, and the carving of the turkey. Shots of the Xmas tree, the decorated fireplace, toys and gifts. The Toronto Santa Claus Parade with the Santa float. medium shot of Santa greeting children. Shot of the family Xmas tree and children opening gifts. The family at the dinner table, eating. Jack playing with a toy train set, and Lynda with a small toy ironing set. 1948: Shot of the Xmas treet and Lynda with a hand puppet. Jack and Lynda posing in front of the Xmas tree. 1949: Jack and Lynda opening Christmas gifts. Lynda tries on a pair of skates.
