This program is about the marketing of makeup and sexy clothing to young girls. Advertising in print, on television and in stores, as well as peer pressure, combine to convince pre-teenage girls to dress in ways that are not appropriate for their ages. The program interviews some girls, their parents and Shari Graydon, author of a book about how advertising promotes stereotypes about beauty. Graydon questions the appropriateness of retailers stocking pushup bras for little girls and expresses concern that little girls do not understand the meaning of the suggestive wording printed on the clothes they wear. <30 mn>
