Film about the efforts of some Saskatchewan farm families to stay on their land. Agri-Pool, seven farm families at Lestock, Saskatchewan, have pooled their resources so that rising operating costs will not drive them off their land. By pooling their land, their equipment, their livestock, and farming as a co-operative, they are able to live as they choose, maintian their standard of living, and even have some spare time left over to enjoy. This is a look at a novel approach to big-scale farming. It includes footage of grain elevators, fields, the agricultural cooperative at work, machinery at work, field and rainbow, farm machinery in operation, farm buildings, baler in operation, and truck unloading grain at grain elevator. <27mn 20s>
