Description :

Part of a film about transportation in the north country. This portion of reel 2 contains: close-up of husky dogs; dogs pulling a sled; mushing; dogs pulling lumber on a sled; a dog carries news of his injured master to others; a team pulls a man on sled to town; Joe Laflamme of Gogama, a trainer of wolves; man captures and harnesses a wolf; men caring for their dogs; treating dogs for distemper; a veterinarian treating dogs; a wolf resisting treatment; intertitle reading "From Rice Lake, one of the most favoured of fur districts, it is a long "mush" to Gogama"; men travelling by dog sled; Laflamme hitching wolf to sled; team struggling; team pulling sled; and intertitle which reading "If you are looking for a new sensation try travelling on a toboggan behind a fast team of 'Huskies'". <6mn 10s>
