A woman is shown in a swimming pool wading with her arms at her sides for balance; she shows how to right oneself if thrown off balance and demonstrates the "sculling" stroke, and correct breathing. Then two men in the pool demonstrate several methods used to release oneself from the clutch of a drowning person when grabbed by the clothing, neck, around the body, or from behind. These men also show the two principal methods of towing a drowning person to shore. Out of the water, the two men illustrate the prone pressure method of resuscitation; one man plays the victim while the other demonstrates each step described in the intertitles. The last intertitle indicates that the same process of resuscitation is equally efficient in cases of electrical shock, inhalation of gas, fumes or other causes. <5mn 12s>Langue :Silent with English intertitlesNo original :3166Remarques :Détails de l'inventaire : -
