In the second part of this Phillip Hersch script, coroner Steve Wojeck appears before a parliamentary committee in Ottawa on automobile safety. In the subplot, centred around Bob and Nina Eden, Nina decides to hospitalize her emotionally disturbed girl. A car accident kills Nina and her other child. The car they were driving in is found to be the same type that was involved in the previous accident which began the first part of this daram. These episodes are noteworthy for their special effects. Two cars, made up to resemble no known make were constructed on real chassis. The realistic car crash was filmed on the Don Valley Parkway in Toronto.
