View of the Plains of Abraham and St. Lawrence in the background. Martello tower with two soldiers in uniform standing on and beside steps., Discoloured along top edge., The Wolfe Album originally contained 89 folios with an additional 145 Crimean and English views, which were removed upon acquisition in 1984. The Crimean and English views are now at the Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library, University of Toronto., In conservation, new pages were added to restore the book to its original state. This watercolour by an unknown artist was added to a new page at the end of the Wolfe album in order to maintain its connection with the entire accession., See the accession file for the conservation record of this album, which explains how and why the folios and the watercolours were rearranged.
