Footage of of Quebec City as it was in 1937 with clips of: narrow cobblestone streets; old buildings in the city; the Plains of Abraham; and monument to General Wolfe; Porte St. Louis; high shots over the St. Lawrence River; and aerials over the old city. Additional scenes include: Château Frontenac; a ceremony re-creating Jacques Cartier's 1535 arrival and the history of Quebec, including details of the Plains of Abraham battle. Shots of the Plains showing fortresses and citadel. Red coated troops parade at the changing of the guard ceremony.
